Ashley Stained Glass are stained glass specialists primarily dealing with the conservation, restoration and protection of architectural stained glass.

We compete for and are awarded substantial contracts due to our knowledge, experience and reputation built on previous dealings with architects and the clergy, spanning over twenty five years. We have performed extensive conservation work for English Heritage and Cadw, as well as for Conservation Accredited Architects.

We specialise in the conservation, restoration and production of stained glass, leaded lights and art glass using both traditional and modern techniques. The principal element of our work is ecclesiastical conservation and repair, but we also undertake commercial projects, from repairs to traditional architectural features, to your design or ours. Our work takes us nationwide.

In addition to glass, we also design, fabricate and install approved protection for stained glass and repair and fabricate metalwork such as metal casements and window hoppers. We also restore old frames and hoppers where required.

All of the above is done in-house by our team who are skilled in all areas of traditional stained glass creation, as well as being adept at more modern techniques such as sandblasting, etching, fusing and other hot-glass processes. We can also meet building regulation requirements in public buildings where required, by employing techniques such as encapsulation of the art glass into double glazed units.

Our previous and present clients trust us to deliver an honest, fair service to a high standard. This trust has been developed through our substantial knowledge of the industry, talented and skilled staff and our belief that the 'that will do' approach is not acceptable.
